Job summary

Guardian Industries in Auburn Hills, MI seeks a Data Management Lead to shape the trusted data foundation for our ERP transformation. This role connects business processes to governed data definitions, conversion rules, and quality controls, enabling analytics, reporting, and AI-enabled solutions.

You will lead data product lifecycle, collaborate with data stewards and process owners, and drive standardization across ERP conversion, governance, and delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in data management, ERP implementation, data conversion, data governance, master data, business analysis, or data-product delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement to define master/reference/transaction data for ERP deployment.
• Translate processes into governed data definitions, conversion rules, quality requirements, reconciliation criteria, and acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate data readiness through profiling, cleansing, testing, refreshes, cutover, production loading, and post-load validation.
• Lead data-product lifecycle from business definition and technical alignment through validation, publication, and ongoing ownership.
• Partner with Data Stewards, process owners, and technology teams to clarify ownership, resolve dependencies, and make data quality and delivery risks visible.
• Validate that data products, semantic views, reports, and related consumption methods reflect approved business meaning and logic.
• Drive standardization, reuse, and continuous improvement across ERP conversion, data governance, and data-product delivery.
