Job summary

Moody's Data Management Summer Intern program seeks a student to learn data readiness and governance while supporting AI‑enabled workflows. You will work with data taxonomy, lineage, quality and migration activities under guidance from data managers and cross‑functional partners.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in a data-related field.
• Strong foundation in data tools and basic database concepts.
• Interest in AI tools and responsible AI practices for data work.

Responsibilities

• Assist with data readiness initiatives and move data into structured databases.
• Help inventory, organize, cleanse and validate data for AI‑use cases.
• Review data taxonomies and attributes for workflows and document improvements.
• Contribute to harmonized data definitions for usability and quality.
• Document data concepts, business rules and data usage practices.
• Support data lineage and source‑to‑target mappings with the team.
• Perform data quality checks and track data readiness metrics.
• Assist with data migration and rationalization activities.
