Moody's Analytics, part of Moody's, seeks a data quality and analytics professional to ensure data accuracy for its credit risk tools. You will manage data acquisition, processing, monitoring, and reporting across large data sets and financial statements.

Responsibilities include building data pipelines, validating external data, mapping financial data to model inputs, and implementing AI-powered quality strategies. Collaboration across teams will enable scalable, reliable analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Finance, Accounting, Operations, Engineering, or related field required.
• Graduate degree and/or 1–2 years of relevant work experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with data quality focus.

Responsibilities

• Drive data accuracy and integrity for Moody's Analytics credit risk tools by managing data acquisition, processing, quality monitoring, and analytical reporting.
• Monitor and analyze data quality trends and develop strategies to improve data quality over time.
• Design and implement data quality monitoring and reporting processes for ongoing accuracy and consistency.
• Build and maintain data processing pipelines and calculations for credit risk models and related outputs.
• Extract financial information from public reports to validate and reconcile data from external sources.
• Map financial line items to model inputs and ensure data readiness for analytics.
• Identify opportunities to automate data operations and improve processes.
• Develop AI-powered data quality strategies and stay current with AI advancements.
