**Summary:**
This role is crucial in building a semantic layer with business-curated data that enables seamless access to People data. The candidate will oversee the People data ecosystem, ensuring data quality, integrity, and security, while enhancing data architecture and processes for faster insights and analytics. A key responsibility is preparing data for AI applications to support conversational analytics and AI-driven decision-making, shaping the future of analytics on the platform.
**Required Skills:**
- Data Architecture Design: Develop and implement data architecture aligned with data engineering policies, optimizing query processes to reduce insight time. Design data models, warehousing solutions, and integration frameworks supporting the data strategy.
- Metrics Aggregation and Computation Layer: Create a comprehensive metrics aggregation and computation layer across people analytics to improve report generation, dashboard performance, and enable self-service analytics. This involves establishing frameworks for metric calculation and data visualization.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Use expertise in business data processes to design data architecture that meets stakeholder needs, understanding business operations, data flows, and requirements.
- Business Partnership: Act as a liaison between Business, People Analytics, and Engineering teams to facilitate collaboration, communication, and data-driven decision-making.
- Ontology and AI-Consumable Data Architecture: Build ontology, metadata, and AI-ready data structures to support AI and machine learning solutions.
- Data Governance Framework: Develop policies, procedures, and standards for data governance to ensure quality, security, and compliance, and support data literacy and cataloging.
- Data Governance Implementation: Lead the certification of metric definitions, risk management practices, and data quality rules, validating data lineage and modernizing governance processes across People Analytics.
**Minimum Qualifications:**
- 5+ years of advanced SQL, PL/SQL, relational database, and data modeling experience.
- 5+ years of data architecture and modeling skills, with knowledge of Kimball Star Schema and Vault techniques.
- 3+ years of experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
- 5+ years of QA/testing and data analysis experience, including scenario modeling and advanced analytics.
- 5+ years of data governance implementation experience.
- 4+ years of data stewardship, including data quality rules and metadata management.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- 8+ years of SQL expertise and experience in data architecture delivery.
- 3+ years of Python coding, especially in building data pipelines.
- 7+ years in data governance and management workstreams.
- Knowledge of semantic layer creation for BI tools.
**Public Compensation:**
$124,000/year to $176,000/year + benefits
