This role will be instrumental in building a robust semantic layer, comprising business-curated data layers that facilitate seamless access to People data. The successful candidate will govern the ecosystem of People data, ensuring data quality, integrity, and security, while driving faster speed to insights and analytics by optimizing data architecture and processes. A critical component of this role is preparing data for AI applications, enabling conversational analytics and AI-driven decision-making, ultimately shaping the future of conversational analytics and AI on Analytics.
Data Management Analyst Responsibilities:
- Data Architecture Design: Develop and implement data architecture that complements data engineering design and policies, optimizing querying processes to reduce time to insight. This includes designing data models, data warehousing solutions, and data integration frameworks that support the organization's data strategy.
- Metrics Aggregation and Computation Layer: Design and develop a holistic metrics aggregation and computation layer across people analytics, enabling the optimization of standard report production, enhancement of dashboard performance, and driving self-service analytics. This involves creating a unified framework for metric calculation, data aggregation, and data visualization.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Leverage subject matter expertise and business data process knowledge to design optimal data architecture that meets the needs of stakeholders. This requires an understanding of business operations, data flows, and data requirements.
- Business Partnership: Act as a bridge between the Business, People Analytics, and Engineering teams, facilitating collaboration, communication, and data-driven insights for efficient decision-making.
- Ontology and AI-Consumable Data Architecture: Build ontology and AI-consumable data architecture and metadata, supporting the development of AI and machine learning solutions. This involves creating data structures, taxonomies, and metadata frameworks that support AI applications.
- Data Governance Framework: Develop comprehensive data governance policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines that ensure data quality, security, and compliance, providing a 360-degree view of metrics and supporting data literacy and catalog development.
- Data Governance Implementation: Drive certification of metric definitions, implement data quality rules (reactive and proactive), validate data lineage, and modernize data governance across People Analytics, including risk management practices.
