Job summary

Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) seeks an entry-level instructional designer for its Data Literacy program within CHOP's Data and Analytics team. The role focuses on facilitating classes and workshops, building a data-loving community, and shaping curricula to meet diverse learner needs.

You will collaborate with data experts across CHOP, design engaging trainings, and deliver both virtual and in-person sessions for staff from clinicians to executives, helping CHOP advance data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a computational, mathematical or science-related field or data-related background required.
• Master's degree preferred in business, education, data science, computational, mathematical or science-related field or public health.
• At least two years experience in data and analytics and at least one year in training/ instructional design.
• Experience with visual and instructional design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Camtasia, Vyond, Captivate, Articulate, Storyline preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gain in-depth knowledge of customer needs by conducting user interviews.
• Improve or develop data literacy products (courses, curriculum, learning modules) based on needs.
• Create trainings using instructional design best practices and meet learners where they are in their data literacy journey.
• Partner with data experts to develop and validate training content.
• Deliver weekly to daily virtual and in-person training across CHOP's staff and executives.
