Job summary

WVU Medicine is seeking a Data Literacy & Stewardship Associate to help design and implement data solutions that improve operations and patient safety. You will work across departments to enable end users to access and understand Epic-based reports, Tableau dashboards, and Power BI insights.

In this role, you’ll develop enablement materials, gather requirements, and support the transition from Tableau to Fabric dashboards, while building data quality and governance practices across Enterprise

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of data analytics experience.
• EPIC proficiency designation during probation.
• Master’s degree preferred in IT/CS/Engineering/Business/Healthcare Admin.

Responsibilities

• Gains understanding of database structure and BI tools to create analytical solutions.
• Serves as first point of contact for data analytics and process improvement.
• Performs data analysis and creates queries, programs and automation under direction.
• Gathers requirements and prepares analysis to evaluate enterprise effectiveness.
• Uses analytical methods to ensure data is meaningful and accurate.
• Develops capability in data analytics using Tableau, Power BI, and SAP.
