Job summary

SYSTEM West Virginia University Health System is seeking a Population Health Strategic Analyst to collect, clean, analyze, and interpret large datasets to support business solutions using Tableau, Epic Workbench, Chronicles, and SQL.

The role collaborates with PSHO leaders to monitor performance against value-based and population health goals, develops tools and dashboards, and communicates insights to influence WVUHS outcomes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree with seven (7) or five (5) years analytic experience.
Three (3) years of healthcare analytic experience.
PhD in a relevant field preferred.

Responsibilities

Utilizes data to find patterns and guide analytic strategies for PHSO leadership.
Develops, monitors, and communicates progress on analytics projects related to PHSO.
Cleans and analyzes data to build tools, models or dashboards for data visualizations.
Forecasts WVU Medicine / PHSO performance in relation to value-based goals.
Performs comparative analyses to highlight variance across geographies, clinics, and providers.
Defines KPIs and tracks impact of initiatives with insights for leadership.
Reviews insurer reports and communicates concerns related to performance methodologies.
