Job summary

Parallax Advanced Research seeks a Data Lead to own data collection, quality, and reporting, reducing admin burden so staff can focus on delivering value to clients. The role supports the transition to a customer-managed CRM, improves data workflows, builds automation, and creates dashboards to aid decision making and quick government data responses.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience with program, operational, CRM, or reporting data.
• Strong Excel skills and experience cleaning structured data.
• Ability to build basic workflow automations.
• Attention to detail and data QA/QC.
• Communicate data requirements clearly across functions.
• Handle confidential or sensitive information appropriately.
• Experience with Salesforce, Pryzm, or another CRM/data-management platform.
• Experience with Power BI or similar visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Own data collection, management, and quality-control processes.
• Ensure engagement, service delivery, and impact data are entered accurately and on time.
• Support reporting by maintaining reliable, report-ready data.
• Serve as a resource for the customer-managed CRM and coordinate with contractors.
• Build tools, dashboards, and automations to reduce manual data entry and reporting effort.
• Train staff and interns on data-entry processes, dashboards, and reporting tools.
• Maintain handling of proprietary and potentially CUI data.
