Job summary

Woven by Toyota is seeking a curious software engineer to build and operate scalable production pipelines that convert autonomous vehicle sensor data into high-value labels and HD map features for ML models.

You will work at the intersection of data engineering, workflow orchestration, and geospatial algorithms, owning components end-to-end and collaborating with perception, ML, and data teams. A growth mindset and collaborative spirit are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Python and basic SQL.
• Strong problem-solving ability and growth mindset.
• Git in a collaborative, review-based workflow.
• Experience with AWS, Docker and CI/CD (GitHub Actions).
• Passion for backend software development and data engineering.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Data and pipeline engineering to ingest vehicle data and localize against HD maps.
• Build and optimize end-to-end data pipelines for scalable processing.
• Develop workflow orchestration for long-running production jobs.
• Design clean data models, schemas, and tooling for accessible insights.
• Apply robust testing across data pipelines (unit/integration).
• Participate in root-cause analysis for pipeline issues and releases.
• Collaborate with ML/robotics/data engineers, annotators, PMs, and map vendors.
• Own end-to-end features from design to release.
