Job summary

FINRA’s Office of the Chief Data Officer seeks a Lead Product Manager to own the Data Inventory platform, discovering and cataloging sensitive data across enterprise stores. You will shape the vision, strategy, and roadmap and partner with EDPO, CIS, and IA to address data governance and protection requirements.

You will drive cross-functional collaboration, manage backlogs, and lead end-to-end product delivery from discovery to operation, including data discovery, classification capabilities,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, communications, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in product management, project management, business analysis, program management, or product marketing.
• 5 years of experience in product and/or experience management.
• CSPO certification (preferred).
• Master’s degree in business administration or similar advanced degree (preferred).
• Experience working with senior leadership in a large organization.

Responsibilities

• Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Data Inventory platform.
• Collaborate with EDPO, CIS, Information Operations, Technology Operations, and IA to deliver governance and protection solutions.
• Lead end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery through implementation and ongoing operations.
• Develop and prioritize requirements documents, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Manage product backlog and sprint planning with cross-functional teams.
• Lead large and complex product launches, including UAT and post-launch reviews.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Communications, or related field

7 years of experience in product management or related roles

5 years of product/experience management

CSPO Certification

Master’s Degree in Business Administration or similar advanced degree
