The QA / Test Automation Engineer will own data-heavy validation, building automated regression and data-reconciliation checks, and ensuring evidence-backed gatekeeping for production cutovers.

This role emphasizes SQL-heavy validation, AI-assisted test generation, and coordination with business stakeholders to validate complex data migrations and parallel runs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA experience with a strong test-automation focus.
• Strong SQL skills for data validation and reconciliation across systems.
• Automated testing experience and pipeline integration.
• Data-centric testing for ETL/batch processes and migrations.
• Experience using AI tools in testing or data analysis.
• Root-cause discipline to trace discrepancies across systems.
• Clear written communication for validation reports to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own first-pass reconciliation for parallel runs: legacy vs replacement output; classify discrepancies.
• Build automated regression and parity tests to preserve business behavior across releases.
• Test integrations and performance with warehouse, EDI, and financial systems; compare runtimes.
• Gate production cutovers with evidence; assemble the cutover package for review.
• Coordinate UAT with business users; translate validation results for sign-off.
