Job summary
CHIA seeks a Data Integration Manager in Boston to lead a 5–6 person data engineering team. You will oversee ETL/ELT processes, guide data integration, and ensure scalable solutions on Talend and Snowflake while maintaining hands-on coding as needed.
You will partner with leadership to advance the agency's data platforms, analytics capabilities, and governance standards in a hybrid work environment. The role blends technical depth with people leadership for successful delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or Data Science.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in data engineering/integration/analytics platforms.
- 2+ years of direct people leadership experience.
- Experience with cloud data platforms and modern data engineering concepts.
- Experience managing ETL/ELT and data warehouse environments.
- Proven track record leading technical teams in a complex enterprise.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 5–6 data engineers and integration developers.
- Oversee ETL processes and design/write ETL code as needed.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship for project delivery.
- Coordinate with stakeholders across business and technical teams.
- Drive platform modernization and data governance adherence.
- Support Agile/hybrid project delivery methodologies.
