Job summary

Charter School of Inquiry is seeking a Data and Instructional Technology/Special Projects Coordinator to gather assessment data, coordinate benchmark assessments, and oversee the tech components of progress monitoring and progress tracking. You will ensure students have access to instructional technology and generate proficiency reports for leadership use.

The role involves coordinating NYS CBT administration, data-driven instruction support, and leading special projects related to school events

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of successful experience in an elementary or secondary educational environment.
• Minimum of two years of supervisory/leadership or instructional coaching experience in an educational setting.
• General knowledge of New York State Assessments and the Computer Based Testing (CBT).
• Proven success collecting, analyzing, and utilizing data for instructional purposes.
• Proven success using technology for instruction and assessment
• Experience with remote instruction
• Excel Experience Using Technology As an Instructional Tool
• Experience with Google Apps for Education, Google Docs, iPad Keyboard, Microsoft Office, MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Smart Boards
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Three professional references.

Responsibilities

• Is responsible for gathering assessment data, coordinating benchmark assessments, and overseeing the technical components of progress monitoring and checkpoint assessments; ensures that all students have access to instructional technology; generates proficiency and data reports; coordinates the administration of the New York State Computer Based Testing; ensures that teachers and members of the leadership team have the necessary data to monitor student progress and assess the effectiveness of curriculum and instruction.
