Holmes Murphy & Associates is seeking a Data & Reporting Analyst to join the Information Technology team in West Des Moines, IA. The role focuses on collecting data, building dashboards, and delivering timely reports to support business decisions.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 1–3 years of data analysis experience, with strong SQL, Python or R skills and experience in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business analytics, computer science, information systems or related field preferred.
• 1-3 years of professional experience in data analysis, reporting, or related field.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information.
• Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes is a plus.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze data from various sources to deliver accurate and timely reports.
• Develop, maintain, and automate dashboards and reporting tools.
• Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies to support business objectives.
• Consult with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver insights.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy through regular data quality checks.
• Provide operational consulting for reporting, data quality, and technical requests related to the use of the claim system.
• Work in partnership with assigned business unit and consult as needed.
