Job summary

The Louisiana Department of Health is seeking a Data, Reporting, and Research Manager to lead data analysis, performance reporting, and research efforts for Adult Protective Services and related programs in Louisiana. The role focuses on turning complex data into actionable insights to improve safety and well‑being for vulnerable adults statewide.

Responsibilities include producing reports, developing targets, and guiding quality improvement initiatives across OAAS and LDH leadership.

Qualifications

Experience in developing, managing, or evaluating health or social service programs.
Proven ability to analyze data and produce actionable reporting for agency decision‑makers.
Strong oral and written communication across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Manages production, extraction, analysis, and reporting of APS data to support operations and decisions.
Develops reports, performance standards, targets, and decision‑support materials for multiple LDH programs.
Identifies reporting needs and creates analyses and measures aligned with priorities.
Implements analytical methods, quarterly/annual reports, and ad hoc analyses.
Conducts demographic, performance, utilization, and qualitative analyses to improve programs.
Uses SAS, Tableau, and data systems to extract, analyze, and evaluate outcomes.
Provides supervision and guidance to staff and partners on quality improvement plans.
