Job summary

Amazon is seeking a data-driven Data Engineer to join the AIGC DIGI team within Advertising. You will design and operate scalable data infrastructure, build ETL/ELT pipelines, and partner with BI engineers, data scientists, software engineers, product managers and leaders to deliver timely insights across Stores, Amazon Business, Devices, Video and Audio Ads.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of data engineering experience
• 1+ years developing and operating large-scale BI analytics data structures (ETL/ELT)
• 1+ years developing and operating large-scale BI analytics data structures (OLAP)
• 1+ years developing and operating large-scale BI analytics data structures (data modeling)
• 1+ years developing and operating large-scale BI analytics data structures (SQL)
• 1+ years developing and operating large-scale BI analytics data structures (Oracle)
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing and ETL pipelines

Responsibilities

• Understand business needs and design analytical data infrastructure for multiple ads businesses
• Influence upstream and partner data teams to ensure reliable data solutions
• Manage AWS resources (EC2, EMR, S3, Glue, Redshift)
• Interface with BI engineers, data scientists, software engineers and product managers to define requirements
• Build scalable data solutions and continuously improve reporting and analysis processes
