Job summary

Amazon is seeking a motivated Data Engineer to join the AIGC DIGI team supporting multiple Ads businesses, including Stores, Amazon Business, Devices, Video and Audio Ads. Qualifications

• 3 years of data engineering experience.
• 1 year developing and operating large-scale data structures for business intelligence analytics using ETL/ELT processes.
• 1 year developing and operating large-scale data structures for business intelligence analytics using OLAP technologies.
• 1 year developing and operating large-scale data structures for business intelligence analytics using data modeling experience.
• 1 year developing and operating large-scale data structures for business intelligence analytics using SQL experience.
• 1 year developing and operating large-scale data structures for business intelligence analytics using Oracle experience.
• 3 years of in the job offered or a related occupation experience.
• 1 year of developing and operating large-scale data structures for business intelligence analytics using ETL/ELT processes experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines

Responsibilities

• Understand unique business needs, review existing tech stack and data landscape, design/re-design, implement and build an analytical data infrastructure for multiple ads businesses
• Influence upstream and partner data teams to ensure the reliable data solutions for our team
• Manage AWS resources including EC2, EMR, S3, Glue, Redshift, etc
• Interface with other technology teams to extract, transform, and load data from a wide variety of data sources
• Explore, learn and adopt the latest AWS technologies to provide new capabilities and increase efficiency
• Collaborate with and support Business Intelligence Engineers (BIEs) to recognize and help adopt best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation
• Work with stakeholders to understand the business questions and define requirements and build out scalable data solutions
• Support continually improve ongoing reporting and analysis processes, automating or simplifying self‑service support for customers
