Amazon Advertising is seeking a Software Development Engineer to design and implement scalable architectures for APIs serving millions of advertisers at thousands of transactions per second. The role involves building MCP server infrastructure for AI agent-data interaction and establishing best practices for a global ads experience at scale.

You will work with AWS services and CI/CD pipelines, contributing to high-velocity distributed systems that support real-time data and large-scale delivery

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience.
• Experience programming in at least one software language.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable APIs serving millions of advertisers at thousands of transactions per second.
• Build Model Context Protocol (MCP) server infrastructure for AI agent-data interaction with sub-second latency.
• Establish system design patterns and best practices for global ads experience at scale.
