Job summary

Citizens Financial Group seeks a Corporate Giving Data and Project Manager to lead data management, analytics, and dashboard development for enterprise reporting. You will transform community data reporting, manage Tableau dashboards, and respond to data requests for senior leaders while overseeing grantmaking data within our philanthropy programs.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in data management and analysis with a proven track record of crafting and executing data projects from scratch, delivering against goals and exhibiting sound judgment.
• Ability to think strategically, prioritize, plan and manage challenging projects with tight deadlines within a fast-moving, changing, and complex environment.
• Strong analytical skills and experience, with the ability to quickly synthesize a large volume of data, generate reports and summarize key insights.
• Strong communication (written and verbal), problem solving and relationship-building skills.
• Describe themselves as a motivated self-starter who is detail-orientation and has an ability to see the big picture.
• Experience with data cleaning, data quality, and database governance.
• Experience performing data analysis and visualization with large datasets.
• Experience building reports and dashboards using business intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
• Proficiency in scripting languages from scratch (Python or R)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formula usage: vlookups/xlookups, data sorting and filtering, pivot table creation and manipulation, conditional formatting)
• Strong understanding of best practices in philanthropy
• Experience working with database querying languages (SQL)
• Experience working with Microsoft Stack (PowerApps, SharePoint, Forms, Lists, etc.)
• Experience working with the Bonterra/CyberGrants platform.
• Work Schedule: Monday - Friday

Responsibilities

• Transform and elevate community data reporting with Tableau dashboards
• Maintain community reports and dashboards in Tableau and Excel for senior leaders
• Respond to ongoing and ad hoc data requests to support philanthropy goals by extracting data and creating reports
• Analyze ad hoc requests to identify patterns and plan new dashboards
• Manage community data collection and cleaning and suggest platform/data changes
• Distill large volumes of data from grantmaking for collective views
• Collaborate with HR and other groups to enhance reporting
