Independence Pet Holdings is seeking a Data Governance Analyst to manage our data governance tech stack and partner with Security, Engineering, Legal and business stakeholders. You will help catalog data, manage metadata, and support data quality, lineage, and MDM initiatives.

Responsibilities include administering the enterprise Data Catalog, leading metadata efforts, and coordinating Osano governance. The role emphasizes collaboration and scalable governance across a growing pet health brand

Formación

• 8+ years in Data Governance or related field.
• Experience implementing data catalog platforms with metadata mgmt.
• Proven ability to lead data stewardship programs from start to scale.
• Knowledge of governance frameworks, data quality, lineage, and MDM.

Responsabilidades

• Administer and support the enterprise Data Catalog with governance partners.
• Lead metadata collection, onboarding, classification, and data glossary work.
• Support Databricks Unity Catalog across data domains.
• Collaborate with owners and engineers to improve data discoverability and governance adoption.
• Design and lead the Data Stewardship Program aligned with catalog deployment.
• Serve as admin for Osano; coordinate enhancements and compliance requests.
• Support MDM platforms, stewardship workflows, and data quality initiatives.
• Monitor governance metrics and usage, recommending improvements.
• Develop governance docs, standards, and procedures.
