Job summary

Independence Pet Group seeks a Data Governance Analyst to manage our governance tech stack, metadata, and data quality initiatives. You will partner with Data Governance, Security, Engineering, Legal and business teams to enable cataloging, MDM, privacy compliance and governance program execution.

You will administer and improve the enterprise Data Catalog, drive the metadata roadmap, and work with Databricks Unity Catalog and Osano to ensure proper governance across data domains.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Data Governance or related field.
• Hands-on with data catalog platforms and metadata management.
• Experience building a Data Stewardship Program.

Responsibilities

• Administer enterprise Data Catalog with governance team.
• Lead catalog roadmap, metadata collection and data lineage docs.
• Support Databricks Unity Catalog data asset registration and access governance.
• Collaborate with data owners, stewards, and engineering to improve data discoverability.
