Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking a Data Governance Analyst to support enterprise data governance, metadata, and data quality efforts in the Midland, MI or Houston, TX area. The role focuses on governance artifacts, documentation, stewardship, and ensuring standards across business domains.

You will work with business and technical teams to improve usability and consistency of enterprise data assets, aligning with governance best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or military experience equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years in data governance, data management, analytics, or related field.
• Foundational understanding of metadata and data quality management.
• Experience partnering with business and technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Execute established data governance processes and controls.
• Create and maintain business/technical metadata and data catalogs.
• Document data lineage, ownership, and stewardship assignments.
• Monitor data quality metrics and perform quality assessments.
• Support governance communications, training, and awareness activities.
• Collaborate with Data Governance Managers to capture requirements.
