Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent military experience required or 5 years in lieu of degree.
• Minimum of 2 years in data governance, data management, analytics, or related field.
• Foundational understanding of governance concepts, metadata, and data quality management.
• Experience working with business and technical stakeholders to support data-related efforts.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Execute established data governance processes, policies, standards, and controls.
• Support enterprise governance initiatives through governance activities and deliverables.
• Maintain business and technical metadata, glossary entries, and data catalog content.
• Document data ownership, stewardship assignments, and data lineage.
• Maintain governance repositories and supporting materials.
• Perform data quality assessments and validation activities.
• Monitor data quality metrics and identify data issues.
• Partner with Data Governance Managers to capture business knowledge and requirements.
• Populate and maintain enterprise data catalogs and governance platforms.
