Dow Inc. seeks a Data Governance Analyst (Business Process Specialist) in Midland, MI or Houston, TX to support governance practices, maintain metadata, and improve data quality across business domains.

The role requires working with business and technical teams to enhance usability of enterprise data assets and ensure governance standards are consistently applied. Strong analytical and collaborative skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or military experience at or above U.S. E5 or Canadian equivalent, or 5 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum 2 years of data governance, data management, analytics, or related field

Responsibilities

• Execute established data governance processes, policies, standards, and controls.
• Support enterprise governance initiatives through governance activities and deliverables.
• Create, maintain, and update business metadata, technical metadata, data glossary entries, and data catalog content.
• Document business definitions, data ownership, stewardship assignments, and data lineage.
• Populate and maintain enterprise data catalogs and governance platforms.
• Maintain governance repositories and supporting materials.
• Perform data quality assessments and validation activities.
• Monitor data quality metrics and identify data issues.
• Partner with Data Governance Managers and subject matter experts to capture knowledge and requirements.
