Job summary

Dow Inc. in Midland, MI or Houston, TX, is seeking a Data Governance Analyst–style Business Process Specialist. You will execute governance processes, maintain metadata, improve data quality, and collaborate with business and technical teams to strengthen the usability of enterprise data assets.

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a proven ability to translate business needs into governance deliverables. Relocation assistance is not provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of data governance, data management, analytics, or related field.
• Foundational governance concepts, metadata, and data quality basics.
• Experience working with business and technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work legally in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Execute established data governance processes and controls.
• Maintain business and technical metadata, glossary entries, and data catalogs.
• Document data ownership, stewardship, and data lineage.
• Support governance initiatives and deliverables.
• Collaborate with Data Governance Managers and subject matter experts.
