Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field (IT, data management, or information governance).
• Minimum five years in a data governance, privacy, security, or related role; experience with regulatory controls preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain the College's data governance program and related policies to ensure data integrity and compliance with state regulations.
• Coordinate with campus stakeholders, CISO, Records Management, and Texas state authorities to enforce data quality, security, lifecycle management, and audit controls.
• Perform audits and risk assessments, monitor adherence to data standards, and educate stakeholders about roles and responsibilities.
