Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Data Governance Lead to drive policy adoption and oversee governance across data domains. You will collaborate with stakeholders to enhance information governance, prepare executive and regulatory reports, and support data stewardship with a focus on risk management and data quality.

You will work within a complex regulatory environment, ensuring adherence to policies and continuous improvement of governance practices.

Qualifications

• Must have 4+ years in information or data practices including governance, management, risk, audit, architecture, analysis, and reporting.
• Demonstrated experience with data quality metrics, business rules, and dashboards.
• Experience navigating complex governance, compliance, risk, or regulatory environments.
• Ability to build partnerships and influence outcomes across multiple teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Drive adoption of the Data Governance Policy and monitor adherence across bank domains.
• Facilitate stewardship and stakeholder forums to align on governance priorities.
• Prepare executive, committee, and regulatory reporting.
• Support and enable stewardship of data across bank data domains and data risk management.
• Identify, measure, monitor, and control risks in line with policies and procedures.
