Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior HR policy leader to develop and manage specialized HR policies and programs within our team. You will collaborate with stakeholders, interpret data, and provide expert guidance to management and HR partners.

The role requires experience across policy design, compliance, and program implementation, with strong communication and leadership capabilities. Occasional domestic travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or progressive work experience required.
• 7+ years of related HR experience.
• In-depth knowledge of a specialized HR function.
• Strong communication, facilitation and presentation skills.
• Ability to deal with all levels of management.
• Customer service orientation with internal/external clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop effective policies and programs in a specialized Human Resources unit.
• Act as a subject matter expert in the specialized Human Resources area.
• Develop proposals and recommendations related to policies and practices.
• Serve as a key contact for stakeholders.
• Manage complex HR issues, programs, and policies.
• Support integration and implementation of HR programs across client groups.
• Partner with assigned HR stakeholders to meet business needs.
• Interpret data and assess policy and program risk; elevate as required.
• Lead a team of HR professionals when applicable.
• Provide high-quality advice and support to business partners and HR.
• Share expert knowledge and provide advice and counsel to business management and HR teams.
• Monitor and communicate the effectiveness of strategies, programs, and practices.
• Ensure programs meet business needs and comply with requirements.
• Develop and manage resources through recruitment, training, coaching, and performance management.
• Provide input to the department's business plan and monitor results.
• Lead and follow up on action planning to address employee survey results.
• Analyze information, provide opinions and recommendations, and refer complex issues as appropriate.
• Integrate other areas of expertise into program development and delivery.
