Job summary

You will lead data elements, metadata, and governance, while driving scalable data products from the data lake and enabling analytics, operations, and reporting for enterprise initiatives.

Qualifications

• Six years of industry experience in a data-related field.
• Five years in technology engineering and cloud modernization for data analytics on AWS.
• Expertise in SQL and database design.
• Strong stakeholder management and delivery timelines.
• Proficiency in Python for data management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement plans for delivering product data that supports strategic objectives, operations, analytics, and reporting.
• Identify and document critical data elements with clear definitions and metadata to improve understanding and reuse.
• Lead publishing of curated data to the data lake and drive toward scalable, governed data products and execute processes to identify, monitor, and mitigate data risks across protection, retention, destruction, storage, use, and quality.
• Create operational procedures for data development and delivery that standardize quality and controls.
• Collaborate with partners to define, document, and socialize data usage, providing subject matter expertise on content and application.
• Partner with technology and business teams to investigate root causes of data issues and recommend remediation.
• Build relationships with data providers and consumers across Business, Technology, Analytics, Operations, Risk, and Control and lead automation and innovation by identifying and executing opportunities to apply emerging technologies.
