Job summary

The role focuses on developing policies, ensuring data accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance while collaborating with data stewards and owners.

You will monitor data quality, implement governance tools, and train staff, with a hybrid work schedule and a base salary between $100,000 and $115,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in data governance, data management, data quality, or a related technical role.
• Understanding of data governance frameworks, data quality management, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Experience with data governance tools and technologies is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with statistical languages (R, Python, SQL).

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of data governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
• Collaborate with data stewards and data owners across departments to ensure adherence to data governance policies.
• Monitor data quality metrics and implement improvement strategies.
• Conduct data reviews for data integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Support implementation of data governance tools and technologies.
• Create and maintain documentation related to data governance processes.
• Educate and train staff on data governance best practices.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to support initiatives.
• Perform other duties as required by the head of data governance.
