Job summary

Framatome is seeking a PMO Major Project Coordinator in Richland, WA, to support industrialization and project management for multi-million euro investments. You will help structure methods, set up PM structures, manage risks, and coordinate reviews with the project manager to ensure on-time delivery of complex processes and facilities.

The role involves working in a safety-sensitive nuclear energy environment, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field and strong leadership experience.
  • Minimum 7 years of directly related project experience in PMO or engineering contexts.
  • Experience structuring projects with WBS/PBS/OBS/CBS and PM planning.
  • Familiarity with risk management, schedules, and project reviews.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage complex interfaces.

Responsibilities

  • Structure project methods and tools across all project phases.
  • Set up WBS/PBS/OBS/CBS from launch and draft the PM plan.
  • Apply functional analysis, value analysis, and cost design approaches.
  • Lead risk analysis and mitigation actions throughout the project.

Your Opportunity

This full-time role is about making an impact on people's lives and the future of clean energy. You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As a PMO Major Project Coordinator in Richland, WA, you will be part of the proven team in the Direction Industrialization Performance Business Line in the Fuel Business Unit. The Projects Department is in charge of project management for investments worth several million euros. The projects involve setting up new, innovative process workshops (powder processing, pellet manufacture, assembly manufacture), support facilities and site redevelopment. This role will support the operational management of a project. Your work will include:

  • Structuring project methods and tools throughout all phases of the project.
  • Setting up the WBS/PBS/OBS/CBS from the project launch phase and drafting the Project Management Plan.
  • Implement and promote functional analysis, Value Analysis, Design to Cost, configuration, and interface management in every phase of the project. (System Engineering approach)
  • Lead the implementation of risk analysis and mitigation actions.
  • Provide support in updating and managing the schedule.
  • Manage, with the project manager, the various Project Reviews and Gate Reviews (GR) until the project is ready to deliver assemblies to customers.
  • Monitor requirements and interface matrices.
  • Define routines and lead visual management bodies.
  • Prepare/present periodic performance reports, analyze deviations from standard methods, propose corrective or improvement plans, relaunch and steer action plans to optimize performance,
  • Manage significant project modification requests, deviation reports and associated actions.
  • Plan/Pilot/Coordinate project documentation production.
  • Participate in the management of the project

Your Total Rewards Package

The range of base salary for the position is between $123,000 - $167,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
