Job summary

PharmaEssentia USA is seeking a Manager, Data Foundations & Integration in Burlington, MA to lead data ingestion, governance, and warehouse operations. You will supervise external vendors, define requirements, and ensure data reliability for analytics and AI initiatives.

You will own DCR/MDM processes, drive data quality improvements, and collaborate with the Data Strategy & Operations Lead to align data foundations with business needs. Hybrid work arrangement with on-site presence is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical or analytics field.
• 5+ years in data management, governance, or data ops with enterprise scope.
• Experience leading DCR/MDM or comparable data-change processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end data-ingestion lifecycle from source to warehouse.
• Direct external vendors for ETL pipelines and data delivery.
• Translate business needs into ingestion requirements and data contracts.
• Review vendor designs, mappings, and test results for quality and security.
• Manage vendor delivery, SLAs, costs, and risk; escalate when needed.
• Monitor data freshness, completeness, accuracy, and pipeline reliability.
• Define ownership and handoffs among source systems, providers, and downstream teams.
• Lead DCR processes including intake, triage, prioritization, and closure.
• Lead MDM across key domains including identity resolution and survivorship rules.
• Provide guidance on business rules, priorities, and expected outcomes.
• Improve ingestion, DCR, and MDM processes with automation and metrics.
• Establish data-governance standards for ownership, lineage, access, and privacy.
• Oversee Snowflake environment operations, access, and cost management.
• Collaborate with Data Product Engineering to meet downstream analytics needs.
• Maintain documentation on data sources, lineage, and vendor responsibilities.
