Zoomies is seeking a senior data platform architect to design and build scalable data pipelines from ingestion to semantic layers in a structured hybrid environment. You will work with business and AI teams to enable reliable analytics at scale and deterministic LLM querying.

Qualifications

• Have 6+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on data architecture or system design.
• Demonstrate ability to architect and scale complex data models and data platforms.
• Fluency in Python, Java, or Scala with strong software fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Designing and building scalable, fault-tolerant data pipelines transforming raw data into trusted datasets.
• Owning data quality and observability with monitoring, testing, and documentation.
• Developing semantic and metric layers for reliable data querying by humans and AI.
• Architecting well-modeled datasets using dimensional modeling, Data Vault, or One Big Table.
• Leveraging Generative AI frameworks to accelerate analytics and development.
