Job summary

The Sobrato Family Foundation is seeking a Program Analyst to conduct research, analyze data, and contribute to multiple Silicon Valley programs. You will work with the Program Director to track progress toward goals, manage datasets, and synthesize evidence for learning and decision making.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in nonprofit and/or philanthropic sectors.
• A Master’s Degree or 2-3 years’ experience in program evaluation and/or research methods.
• Experience working with diverse populations.
• Commitment to Sobrato Philanthropy’s mission.
• Knowledge of the Silicon Valley region a plus.
• Proficiency with MAC including the Microsoft Office 365 suite.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau and grantmaking tools like Fluxx, a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of cross‑foundation evaluation and learning framework and program measurement and learning plans.
• Provide project management support for evaluation and learning activities.
• Manage quantitative and qualitative datasets; develop and report dashboards for quarterly boards.
• Support organizational learning by helping gather stakeholder feedback.
• Provide technical assistance to grantees to strengthen data collection and analysis.
• Contribute to data-driven decision making within the organization.
• Prepare memos and presentations synthesizing findings and recommendations.
• Support grants administration and program outcomes reporting.
