Job summary

The Public Welfare Foundation seeks a Program Analyst to support the three program Directors and the President & CEO. The role involves conducting background program research, analyzing trends, and helping prepare internal and external documents describing grants.

The PA will also assist with meetings, conferences, and updates for grantees and stakeholders. Responsibilities include coordinating support to grantees, drafting grant summaries, attending funder briefings, and organizing program

Qualifications

• Excellent writing, research/inquiry, and verbal communications skills are essential.
• Ability to track multiple deadlines and priorities across topics.
• Basic computer skills including word processing and spreadsheets required.

Responsibilities

• Provides support to program team through research, writing, editing, and data collection and analysis.
• Coordinate assistance to Foundation grantees and partners; identify emergent issues and trends in criminal justice.
• Review grant reports and assess indicators of progress to bolster learning.
• Draft proposal summaries for internal review by President & CEO and Board of Directors.
• Attend funder briefings and meetings; produce summaries for the program team.
• Plan, design, and organize program meetings, conferences, and events to support goals.
• Prepare program materials for board meetings including grantee updates and relevant news clippings.
• Contribute to special projects in support of the Foundation’s agenda and goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
