Job summary

Cox Manufacturing is seeking a detail‑oriented temp worker to help migrate decades of records into a new ERP platform. You'll spend your time building records: bills of materials, work orders, tooling data, and you’ll support the Tool Room with day‑to‑day paperwork.

No machining knowledge is required; you must type quickly and accurately, learn new software, and spot errors before they become problems. This 3‑month assignment is on site in San Antonio.

Qualifications

• Fast, accurate keyboard entry with high attention to data quality.
• Comfortable learning new software and navigating multiple screens.
• Capable of consistent, repetitive data work with focus.
• Good communication when records look off or require clarification.

Responsibilities

• Enter and build bills of materials (BOMs).
• Create and release work orders.
• Update work order status and move jobs through the system.
• Process tooling from WIP to finished goods and issue to requester.
• Cross-reference information across screens, spreadsheets, and apps.
• Maintain tooling inventory records and create purchase requisitions.
