Job summary

The Salvation Army Northern Division Headquarters in Roseville, MN is seeking a Data Entry Assistant to support the Twin Cities Toy Shop program. You will accurately enter and maintain Social Services data in SIMS and TSAMM, ensuring data integrity and timely responses to inquiries.

This time-limited position runs approximately three months, with a 25-hour work week at $17.25 per hour. The role is site-based at the DHQ and Toy Shop locations, with occasional local travel.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with a management information system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Data Entry (50%): Enter information into the SIMS database accurately and efficiently.
• Data Verification (20%): Verify data accuracy in SIMS and TSAMM.
• Inquiry Response (15%): Respond to inquiries regarding entered data.
• Document Management (5%): Maintain and secure source documents after entry.
• Database Support (5%): Support maintenance and integrity of the SIMS database.
• Technical Support Coordination (5%): Contact SIMS help desk to resolve issues.
