North Star Mohican Casino Resort is seeking a Data Entry Specialist for the Gaming Division. The role pays $16.00 per hour and isFull-Time, reporting to the Finance Manager.

The position requires accurate data entry into spreadsheets and journal entries in the accounting system, with strict confidentiality and compliance with policies. Candidates should be detail-oriented, with strong communication and Excel skills, and familiarity with Great Plains is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred; required if under 19.
• Courteous and friendly demeanor.
• Proficient with Excel and be attentive to detail.
• Excellent communication skills are required.
• Familiarity with Great Plains software is a plus.
• Maintain satisfactory working record in prior/current employment.

Responsibilities

• Accurately record data into assigned spreadsheets in a timely manner.
• Accurately record general journal entries in accounting system in a timely manner.
• Assist in financial audit preparations.
• Prepare W2G and 1099 tax filings.
• Maintain confidentiality for the Finance Division.
• Attend trainings and meetings as assigned.
• Adhere to all rules, regulations, procedures and policies.
