Job summary

North Star Mohican Casino Resort in Wisconsin is seeking a Slot Attendant to deliver excellent customer service on the gaming floor. This hourly role pays $15.00 per hour plus potential shift/weekend differentials where applicable and reports to the Slot Supervisor.

The position requires ability to obtain a Mohican Nation Gaming License, pass background and drug tests, and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must obtain and maintain a Mohican Nation Gaming License.
• Criminal Investigation Background Check required.
• Pre-employment drug screening and health screening required.
• Flexible with schedule including weekends, holidays.
• Ability to interact with a variety of people.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the highest standards of customer service per North Star Mohican Casino Resort policies.
• Provides minor maintenance on slot/ video gaming machines.
• Assists the slot supervisor, including obtaining change and helping customers.
• Reports disputes, malfunctions, and complaints to the slot supervisor or technician.
• Maintains an acceptable departmental attendance record.
• Wears the approved departmental uniform.
• Adheres to all rules, procedures and policies of the Slot Department.
• Follows the Casino’s Drug and Alcohol-Free Workplace Policy.
• Duties may change based on department needs.

Position : Slot Attendant Hourly : $15.00 per hour + shift/weekend differential, if applicable Lo cation : Gaming Division Reports to : Slot Supervisor

In accordance with the Gaming Ordinance, all non-gaming employees whose annual income reaches $50,000 or more will be required to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.

Responsibilities :

• Ensures that the highest standards of customer service are maintained in accordance with policies and procedures set forth by North Star Mohican Casino Resort.
• Responsible for doing minor maintenance on slot and video gaming machines.
• Must assist the slot supervisor when required, including obtaining change and assisting customers in any way possible.
• Must report all disputes, malfunctions, and complaints to the slot supervisor and/or slot technician.
• Must maintain an acceptable departmental attendance record.
• Must wear the approved departmental uniform.
• Must adhere to all established rules, regulations, procedures and policies of North Star Mohican Casino Resort and the Slot Department.
• Must adhere to the Casino’s Drug and Alcohol-Free Workplace Policy during employment.
• Must maintain compliance with all workplace policies, procedures, ordinances, laws, and other communicated expectations, including but not limited to: Employment Manual, Gaming Ordinance, State Gaming Compact, Tribal Internal Controls, Departmental Procedures, memos or other communication from supervisory or regulatory personnel.

Qualifications & Education :

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred. High School Diploma or GED is required if you are 19 years old and under.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Mohican Nation Gaming License.
• Must submit to a Criminal Investigation Background Check (CIB).
• Must submit to and pass a pre-employment drug screening and health screening.
• Must be flexible with schedule to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to work with a variety of people with diverse personalities.
• Must have a positive attitude and provide a teamwork structure within the department.
• Must be willing to enhance self-development and be willing to adapt to change.
• Must be willing to attend all applicable training.
• Must have demonstrated ability to maintain a satisfactory working record in any prior and/or current employment.
• Must be eligible for insurance under the employer’s liability insurance.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:

• Constant hand movements (repetitive motions: grasping, holding, use of finger dexterity).
• Frequent standing and walking and occasional bending, squatting, and reaching.
• Occasional lifting and/or moving up to thirty (30) pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and depth perception and the ability to adjust and focus.
• Work is generally performed in a casino setting with a higher noise level and where cigarette smoke is prevalent.
• Evening and/or weekend work is required. Extended hours and irregular shifts may be required.
• Work environment requires excellent personal hygiene, due to working near others.
• The work environment is smoke-free, but dust levels depend upon location.
• Requires constant hand movements involving grasping, holding, and fine manipulation. Tasks include using hands to handle objects, tools, or controls, and reaching with hands and arms.
• Involves constant walking and standing, with potential for kneeling, crouching, and bending.
• Work is typically conducted in a casino environment with moderate to high noise levels and exposure to cigarette smoke.
• The work area is smoke-free, with varied noise levels and is dust-free.
