Job summary

Specialty Rx, Inc. is seeking a licensed Pharmacy Technician to support daily pharmacy operations, including dispensing, labeling, and order processing. The role emphasizes accurate data entry, adherence to policies, and excellent customer service.

Under supervision, you will maintain stock, prepare medications, and coordinate with staff to ensure timely fulfillment. This position supports the CARE culture and team goals at Specialty Rx, Inc.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Pharmacy Technician required.
  • Previous pharmacy experience preferred.
  • Previous data entry experience preferred.
  • Must be reliable and execute multiple tasks assigned.
  • Good organizational skills and detail oriented.
  • Ability to physically perform light lifting.

Responsibilities

  • Work under the direction of a supervisor.
  • Maintain floor stock, restocking, removal of expired medications.
  • Rotate stock to assure quality controls.
  • Prepack for floor bulk prescribed medications.
  • Package fill and ship medications.
  • Enter new orders for staff pharmacist review.
  • Maintain up-to-date, accurate customer information.
  • Generate labels for dispensing.
  • Answer phones and respond to order inquiries.
  • Clarify orders as needed.
  • Triage incoming faxes.
  • Maintain pharmacy standards and adherence policies.
  • Collaborate with others to support the goals of the pharmacy.
  • Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor.
