Job summary

SpecialtyRx, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Pharmacy Technician to join our on-site team in Omaha. You will work under supervision, maintain inventory, prepack medications, and handle orders and customer communication with accuracy and care.

Experience with Narcotics room handling is a plus. The role emphasizes reliability, organization, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while ensuring compliance with pharmacy standards and policies.

Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacy Technician required.
• Must be reliable and execute multiple tasks assigned.
• Good organizational skills and detail oriented.
• Ability to physically perform light lifting.

Responsibilities

• Work under the direction of a supervisor.
• Experience working Controlled Drugs (Narcotics) room a plus.
• Maintain floor stock, restocking, removal of expired medications.
• Rotate stock of medication areas to assure quality controls.
• Prepack for floor bulk prescribed medications.
• Package fill and ship medications.
• Enter new orders for staff pharmacist review.
• Maintain up-to-date, accurate customer information.
• Answer phones and respond to order inquiries.
• Clarify orders as needed.
• Triage incoming faxes.
• Responsible for pharmacy standards, maintaining adherence policies.
• Team player and collaborates with others to support the goals of the pharmacy.
• Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor.
