Job summary

American Income Life in Waco, Texas is seeking a Data Entry/Mail Claims Representative to join our team on-site. This role focuses on accurate data entry and mail duties to support our claims processing operations.

You will enter data into Access databases, scan and sort mail, and handle daily mail pickups and drop-offs with a high degree of reliability, accuracy, and initiative. A High School diploma, 50 wpm typing, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required to perform effectively in this

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license.
• Minimum typing requirement of 50 wpm with excellent alpha and numerical recognition skills.
• Ability to lift heavy cartons up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to operate standard office equipment and various software packages.
• Proficient communication skills including proper grammar, word usage, and punctuation in writing and verbally.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming emails and entering data via PC into Access Database to process payment or generate appropriate transactions to follow.
• Scanning, sorting, and sending incoming and outgoing mail.
• Pick up and drop off mail daily from the designated mail pick up area within the building.
• Perform various duties with a high degree of accuracy across diverse workstation assignments based on department need, including other duties as required.
