Job summary

PHM is seeking a Data Manager of Data Engineering in a hybrid role with three days in office per week. The candidate will oversee data transfers, QA, and documentation while supporting the VP of Data Engineering.

This role reports to the Director, Data Engineering and may be based in Philadelphia, Chicago, or New York. Responsibilities include leading data projects across clients, collaborating with Media Tech, BI, Strategy, Investments, and Tech & Data teams, and monetizing data flow

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Experience tracking and resolving BI and database incidents and requests.
• Experience with database structures, theories, principles, and practices.
• Experience with ETL and data warehouse principles.
• Technical documentation skills.
• Experience communicating complex updates and resolutions to partners in user-friendly language.

Responsibilities

• Lead portfolio of data projects across different clients in the agency.
• Work with cross-functional teams including Media Tech, BI, Strategy, Investments, and Data & Tech.
• Oversee data transfers using the agency warehouse and ETL solutions.
• Monetize data flow automation to retrieve, transform and load data.
• Maintain data management responsibilities including ETL/data feed and metadata management.
• Review processes to ensure data stability, security, and compliance.
• Present issues, trends and recommendations to internal and external teams.
• Provide solutions for data needs and issue resolutions with Data Engineering, Technology and Data/BI teams.
