Job summary

Moody's Investors Service is seeking undergraduates for a 10-week summer internship in the US. The program runs June 7–August 13, 2027 and is a full-time opportunity to explore software, data engineering, and AI initiatives while building practical technical skills.

Interns will learn through hands-on projects, mentorship, and collaboration with engineers and product teams, gaining exposure to cloud computing and responsible AI practices.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with strong interest in software and AI.
• Willingness to learn Java, Python, AI concepts, and cloud technologies.
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Support software, data engineering, and AI initiatives while building practical technical skills.
• Contribute to data analysis, technical research, and project assignments affecting business outcomes.
• Assist in debugging, testing, and performance tuning under guidance of experienced engineers.
• Learn new technologies and apply tools across software development, cloud computing, and AI.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate issues and document findings.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and project updates.
• Attend team meetings, technical discussions, and code reviews for learning and collaboration.
