Job summary

Moody's Investors Service in New York offers a 10-week summer internship focused on digital tools, AI-powered workflows, and analytics. You will contribute to Power BI dashboards and AI-enabled projects while collaborating with Ratings & Research, Technology, and Research teams.

The internship runs June–August 2027 for undergraduate and select graduate students, with mentorship, networking events, leadership speaker series, and volunteer opportunities as part of the program.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative discipline such as statistics, applied mathematics, quantitative economics, data science, computer science or a related field.
• Graduation date of May 2028 – June 2029.
• Ability to work during program dates: June 7th - August 13th 2027

Responsibilities

• Assist in the maintenance and enhancement of PowerBI dashboards.
• Conduct structured user acceptance testing and synthesize insights into actionable dashboard improvements.
• Support project coordination across digitization and AI initiatives, tracking deliverables and timelines.
• Research off-the-shelf AI models and tools and evaluate potential use cases for CS&G workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on people-focused, project-driven tasks under guidance.
