Job summary

Moody’s IT Software Development internship offers hands-on experience in building and maintaining internal tools in a fully remote role within the United States. You will work with TypeScript, C#, and AWS to develop APIs and automation pipelines, mentored by senior engineers.

This 10-week summer program is designed for undergraduate students with strong fundamentals in CS/SE and a passion for scalable systems, coding standards, and collaborative teams.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• Graduation date between June 2027 and June 2028.
• Available to work full-time June 1 to August 7, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development of internal tools using TypeScript, C#, and AWS.
• Help build and enhance APIs, microservices, and automation pipelines.
• Work with AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and Step Functions.
• Assist with improving code quality, documentation, testing, and developer workflows.
• Support debugging, monitoring, and optimizing existing applications.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and product teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Work with SQL and MongoDB databases.
• Participate in code reviews and follow modern software engineering practices.
• Contribute to real-world projects used in production.
