Job summary

Trading Technologies Limited is seeking a Data Engineer to join the Engineering team in New York. You will work across SQL Server and Snowflake, modernizing data platforms and building scalable data solutions.

The role emphasizes large-scale data, complex SQL, and production-grade data pipelines on AWS. The ideal candidate will migrate data to Snowflake, develop ETL/ELT processes, and collaborate with DevOps, product teams, and service managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
• Strong SQL development experience with SQL Server.
• Hands-on Snowflake and AWS cloud services experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize complex SQL Server queries and data processing workflows.
• Design and develop scalable Snowflake data solutions, including data models, SQL transformations, loading processes, and analytical workloads.
• Participate in the migration of large volumes of data and processing from SQL Server to Snowflake.
• Analyze existing SQL Server logic and translate or redesign it for Snowflake where appropriate.
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL, Python, and workflow orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow.
