Job summary

Trucordia is hiring a Data Engineer to own end-to-end data pipelines from source systems to BI-ready models. You will manage dbt models, onboard sources into Snowflake, and ensure healthy nightly runs while improving observability and performance.

You will partner with Integrations, Sales, Operations, and Finance to translate business questions into trusted data products and deploy governance with Entra/security policies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building production data pipelines with cloud DW experience.
• Strong SQL skills including window functions and data quality checks.
• Hands-on dbt experience in production pipelines and CI workflows.
• Proficiency in Python for data tasks and small services.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain dbt models across staging, intermediate, and mart layers.
• Onboard new data sources into Snowflake and write loads with quality checks.
• Keep nightly dbt runs healthy by diagnosing failures and fixing root causes.
• Improve observability with freshness checks and data reconciliations.
• Tune Snowflake cost, performance, and scheduling for reliability.
• Contribute to governance: role grants, security policies, and access controls.
• Build backend data layer for internal apps and support deployments via CI.
• Collaborate with analysts to translate business questions into models.
