Cretex Companies, Inc. is seeking an Analytics Engineer to design, build, and optimize a modern manufacturing data platform.

You will work with Snowflake, DBT, Matillion, and CI/CD, delivering scalable data pipelines and semantic layers for reporting and AI-ready analytics. You will partner with stakeholders, lead data modeling efforts (Data Vault 2.0, dimensional models), ensure data quality, governance, and observability, and guide architecture decisions to enable business insights and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6 years of data engineering/analytics engineering experience with Snowflake and DBT.
• Experience querying MSSQL and REST APIs.
• Understanding of ODBC, JDBC, and data connectivity; knowledge of PostgreSQL/MySQL a plus.
• Experience with Medallion/Lakehouse architectures and data modeling.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable data ingestion/orchestration with Matillion or similar tools for Snowflake.
• Build end‑to‑end transformations using DBT; manage Bronze‑Silver‑Gold layers.
• Develop Data Vault 2.0 models and related standards.
• Create dimensional models and semantic layers for Power BI and analytics tools.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps.
• Establish monitoring, logging, observability for pipelines and platforms.
• Implement automated data quality controls and testing.
• Collaborate with Data Product Owners and stakeholders to translate needs into technical deliverables.
• Provide leadership on data platform architecture and governance.
• Promote AI/ML readiness within the Snowflake ecosystem.
